Mark Lembach, M.D.
Biography
Dr. Lembach has been in practice at Southwest General Health Center Health Center since 2014 and is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has extensive specialized training in orthopaedic sports medicine. He is fellowship trained at the University of Kentucky where he provided care to Division I and II athletes of all sports. He provided extensive team physician coverage for the University of Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky University, Kentucky State University, and multiple area high schools in Fayette County, KY. Dr. Lembach has also provided sports coverage to the University of Cincinnati athletics and metropolitan Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky high schools. He currently serves as the team physician for Olmsted Falls High School, where he has been since 2014, as well as Berea Midpark High School since 2019. He also has provided orthopaedic care to athletes from the surrounding school systems and sports programs around Northeast Ohio.
While providing expertise in general orthopaedic surgery including fractures and joint replacement, Dr. Lembach provides state-of-the-art care in minimally invasive arthroscopic and sports medicine care with particular focus on ACL reconstruction, knee ligament injuries, cartilage restoration, meniscus repair, rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability surgery, and treatment of athletic foot and ankle injuries. He also has particular interest and expertise in shoulder and knee replacement surgery. Dr. Lembach has numerous publications and presentations of academic articles in the field orthopaedics and sports medicine.
Dr. Lembach was born and raised in the Southwest General Hospital community and is happy to serve his hometown and local community by providing comprehensive orthopaedic care. Dr. Lembach along with his wife and two children enjoy following the Cleveland and Ohio sports teams and participating in recreational sports and outdoors activities including hiking, fishing, skiing, and golfing.
